It’s nice to see the Rangers’ Brandon Prust try to hold his own against the taller and heavier Milan Lucic, but as you’ll see below, bravery can only get you so far.
Lucic pretty much controlled the fight, moving Prust into the Bruins’ bench before it was broken up. The scrap occurred just two seconds after Boston’s Benoit Pouliot scored at 7:57 of the first period to cut the Rangers’ lead down to 2-1. Boston did end up scoring the next goal, but it was not until 1:40 of the second period, and New York still ended up winning 4-3.
