Armstrong, Liles back in Leafs lineup tonight for Pens rematch

Colby Armstrong

One night after blowing a three-goal lead in the third period and losing the shootout in Pittsburgh, the Maple Leafs will get two key players back for the rematch against the Penguins in Toronto.

Forward Colby Armstrong and defenseman John-Michael Liles are expected to play tonight – the former has been out with a foot injury, the latter a concussion.

To make room for the two returning players, Nazem Kadri and Keith Aulie have been sent down to the minors.

James Reimer will get the nod in goal for the home team, taking over for Jonas Gustavsson. Reimer’s made just one start in 2012, losing to Ottawa on Jan. 17.

The Leafs earned a point with last night’s 5-4 shootout loss, but they should’ve earned two. How they respond tonight will be interesting to see.

Toronto sits eighth in the Eastern Conference, one point of ahead of Florida, which has two games in hand.
