Briere, JVR participate in Flyers practice

Daniel Briere

Philadelphia forwards Daniel Briere and James van Riemsdyk aren’t quite ready to return to the Flyers’ lineup from concussions; however, they did participate in this morning’s practice.

CSNPhilly.com reports that Briere and van Riemsdyk wore regular orange jerseys today, as opposed to the no-contact garb. Granted, both left the ice before the more physical drills started, but today’s appearance still suggested progress.

Also taking part in practice were Jaromir Jagr (groin) and Zac Rinaldo (upper-body), both of whom are considered day-to-day.

Jagr isn’t sure if he’ll play tomorrow when the Flyers host Winnipeg – he’ll make the call in the morning after he skates.

Rinaldo says he’s ready to go.
