Goal of the Night - Tyler Ennis (March 19)

Atlanta Thrashers v Buffalo Sabres

<> on February 23, 2011 in Buffalo, New York.

Rick Stewart

Aside from the occasional night off – or the even less common instance when a save or goal isn’t deemed worthy – the gang at PHT will decide which tally or stop is the best of any given night. Once those two winners are determined, we’ll share our reasoning (and most importantly, the video clip for each) in posts for your viewing pleasure.

There were plenty of fantastic goals on Saturday night. On lighter nights of action, Luke Schenn’s end-to-end rush, Brandon McMillan’s impressive work taking advantage of a great lob pass and a lucky bounce and John Madden’s beautiful pass would have taken the cake.

Instead, the winner is Tyler Ennis. On this goal, he managed to beat Zach Bogosian, Bogosian’s projectile stick, another Atlanta defenseman and goalie Chris Mason for an electrifying breakaway goal.
