Part of the Blackhawks visit this weekend to play the Capitals saw them make a stop at the White House where President Barack Obama recognized the Blackhawks for their Stanley Cup victory last season.
President Obama being an Illinois native and big Chicago fan helped make the ceremony a bit more fun for the Blackhawks and superstar winger Patrick Kane was able to show off for us a special view of the festivities. If you ever wondered what it was like to stand on the dais while the President is addressing a crowd, Kane shows us what it’s like. Sadly, Kane isn’t sporting the playoff mullet anymore because the President was a big fan of the ‘do.
Pierre McGuire and Mike Milbury also discuss whether or not they think the Blackhawks can repeat this year.
