Whether you’re interested for fantasy hockey reasons or just want to know which goalie your team is playing in a given day, we thought it might be helpful to share our best guesses (based on various previews from newspapers and Web sites plus our own instincts) on who might start each day.

7:00 pm

Ottawa @ Boston

Ottawa’s starter: Brian Elliott gets the call against Boston. (Source)

Boston’s starter: Tim Thomas and his ridiculous career record against the Senators will get the start. (Source)

Washington @ Buffalo

Washington’s starter: Rookie Braden Holtby will make his second career start tonight. (Source)

Buffalo’s starter: Ryan Miller makes his triumphant return to action for Buffalo. He hasn’t played since late October and the Sabres could use a lift in goal now that Jhonas Enroth has been sent back to the AHL. (Source)

Vancouver @ Toronto

Vancouver’s starter: Roberto Luongo gets the nod and if you’re looking at this from a fantasy hockey perspective, if you’ve got Luongo this might be a really good night to start him. (Source)

Toronto’s starter: Jean-Sebastian Giguere will start for the Leafs on Nazem Kadri’s coming out party on Hockey Night In Canada. (Source)

Carolina @ Montreal

Carolina’s starter: Cam Ward gets the call as the Hurricanes leave the lineup the same from their 8-1 blowout loss. Hmm. (Source)

Montreal’s starter: Carey Price will start once again because, well, frankly he’s the man. The Habs also won’t be changing their lineup. Difference being the beat Boston with this lineup the other night. (Source)

Florida @ Philadelphia

Florida’s likely starter: Suspicion leads us to believe it’ll be Tomas Vokoun once again. There’s been no confirmation of this as of yet, but if there’s a change we’ll update you.

Philadelphia’s starter: Sergei Bobrovsky gets the nod in goal once again for his ninth straight start. (Source)

Pittsburgh @ Atlanta

Pittsburgh’s starter: Marc-Andre Fleury gets the nod. After a quiet night against the Lightning last night facing just 16 shots, it makes sense to give Fleury another go against the Thrashers. Perhaps tonight he’ll actually see a few shots. (Source)

Atlanta’s starter: Ondrej Pavelec gets the nod in goal and he’s hoping to change his fortunes against Pittsburgh. He’s 0-4-0 in his career against the Pens with a goals against average of 5.22. Ouch. (Source)

Colorado @ Detroit

Colorado’s starter: Peter Budaj will start again. There was some talk of John Grahame getting the start here, but no dice - it’s Budaj’s game. (Source)

Detroit’s starter: Jimmy Howard goes once again for Detroit. He’s been solid so far this year and Detroit’s done well because of his play. (Source)
