8:00 PM ET games
Chicago @ Nashville
Likely Chicago starter: Marty Turco (Source: Chris Kuc.)
Likely Nashville starter: Pekka Rinne - He’s only 3-4-2 so far this season. Should Anders Lindback get a few chances here and there? Well, not tonight. (Source: On the Forecheck.)
St. Louis @ Phoenix
Likely St. Louis starter: Ty Conklin - Sounds like a rare start for good ‘ol “Conkblock.” (Source: St. Louis Game Time.)
Likely Phoenix starter: Ilya Bryzgalov - He played in last night’s 5-4 win over the Calgary Flames, but he’s also far and away their best option in net so it’s not crazy to play him in back-to-backs. (Source: Phoenix Coyotes Web Site.)
10:00 PM ET game
Calgary @ San Jose
Likely Calgary starter: Miikka Kiprusoff - He might not be the best goalie in hockey, but he has the workload of the game’s best. (Source for both: David Pollak.)
Likely San Jose starter: Antti Niemi - Fellow Finn Niemi has one thing Kipper doesn’t: a Cup to his name. Then again, Kipper has something Niemi lacks: a firm grasp on the top goalie job. (Source for both: David Pollak.)
10:30 PM ET game
NY Islanders @ Los Angeles
Likely NY Islanders starter: Dwayne Roloson - For the most part, I don’t really think you can blame Roloson for the Islanders’ horrible (yet not-so-shocking) nine-game skid. (Source: Katie Strang.)
Likely Los Angeles starter: Jonathan Quick - He’s the best goalie that almost no one is talking about. (Source: Rich Hammond.)
