Today’s Starting Goalies - November 10 (late edition)

Whether you’re interested for fantasy hockey reasons or just want to know which goalie your team is playing in a given day, we thought it might be helpful to share our best guesses (based on various previews from newspapers and Web sites plus our own instincts) on who might start each day.

8:00 PM ET game

Nashville @ St. Louis

Likely Nashville starter: Pekka Rinne (Source for both: On the Forecheck.)

Likely St. Louis starter: Jaroslav Halak - The Blues (and Halak) have been strong this season, but they sure got their losing’s worth last night as Columbus beat them handily 8-1. It sounds like Halak will receive the start anyway, though. (Source for both: On the Forecheck.)

10:30 PM ET games

NY Islanders @ San Jose

Likely NY Islanders starter: Rick DiPietro - My best guess since the Islanders are playing back-to-back games tonight. If you’re counting on Long Island starters, you’re probably pretty hopeless either way, though.

Likely San Jose starter: Antero Niittymaki - Even though he lost against the Ducks, the team is starting him again. Good sign for Niitty, bad sign for Antti Niemi. (Source: David Pollak.)

Dallas @ Los Angeles

Likely Dallas starter: Kari Lehtonen - Andrew Raycroft lost the last game pretty handily against Colorado and the Stars had a nice four days of rest, so Lehtonen is about as obvious a starter pick as it gets. (Source: Mike Heika.)

Likely Los Angeles starter: Jonathan Quick - Much like Lehtonen, it’s been a while since the Kings’ No. 1 played in net. It’s been a week, to be exact, so I’d be very surprised to see the other Jonathan (Bernier) in there instead. (Source: Rich Hammond.)
