Bruins ready to rebound from poor Game 5

Everything the Boston Bruins did wrong in Game 5, that’s what the need to do more of and better in Game 6. Not just the emotion they failed to show (or used at the wrong times in the wrong way), but the crispness of their play, the overall effort they put forth on the ice. They won’t have the life-suffocating home crowd this time, so perhaps going on the road will do a better job of focusing the team than what happened for Game 5.

Per Fluto Shinzawa of the Bruins Blog, Mark Stuart says the team understands the task ahead:

“We need to come out hard,” Mark Stuart said. “We need to establish our game right away. I think the first goal is going to be important. If we get that, it will be nice. We’re obviously not happy with our last game. We’re going to be a lot better tonight. There’s some things that we’ve talked about that we can remedy for sure.”

There are some similiarities between the Bruins and the Canucks the past few games, as it’s seemed the Bruins have focused more on retaliating against the Flyers’ physicality than just playing good, solid hockey.
