Pekka Rinne is keeping the Predators alive, especially in the second period when the Predators committed three straight penalties. The Hawks are outshooting the Predators 26-12, and while the chances have been few Antti Niemi has been strong in net for the Hawks. Chicago will certainly need more, because you can almost count on a flubbed goal at some point by the Blackhawks. It’s just...a rule.

Not much to say about this one, other than the big story surrounding two injuries. Dany Heatley is out for the Sharks with what could be a lower body injury, while Milan Hejduk left in the first period after colliding with teammate Paul Statsny.
