Bruins’ two quick goals make it 4-3 Boston

As Joe wrote in the chat, A 4-on-2 is rarely a good thing. The Bruins scored a tying goal on an out-of-position Buffalo Sabres team and Ryan Miller was way too aggressive to react to a one-timer that eventually found Michael Ryder’s stick.

The surge continued as I was putting this post together, a Zdeno Chara point shot was deflected nicely by David Krejci, suddenly giving the Boston Bruins a 4-3 lead. Darren Pang thinks that the shot also could have gone off of the stick of Buffalo Sabres forward Jason Pominville.

Rarely do the Bruins get things done in a pretty way, but they sure are pesky. Buffalo is on a powerplay, so we’ll keep you updated.
